Many international visitors attending NAB Show Shanghai® require a visa to enter China. Below are some suggested steps to follow when applying for a visa that will help maximize the chances of approval of your application.
While submitting an official Letter of Invitation from NAB Show Shanghai with your application is an important step in this process, the letter does not guarantee approval of your application. The letter is supplementary information that explains an applicant's travel purpose in China. Chinese Embassy officers look at an applicant's personal and professional situation in determining visa eligibility.
The following steps will give you the best possible chance of securing a Chinese visa. It is recommended that you start the process approximately 90 days prior to your departure.
• Register for NAB Show Shanghai.
• The show organizers will issue you the visa invitation letter based on the information in your visa invitation request form.
• If you require an original hard copy, please select the 'receiver pay' courier service.
• The dates, places and purposes of your visit must be compatible with the Show. The visa applicant must hold a valid passport of a country that has normal diplomatic relationships with China.US passport holders must have at least 6months validity on their passport when requesting a visa.
